Lunch Program


Please see below the instruction to be registered (new students) or re-registered (returning students) for the lunch service:

NEW STUDENTS: Please subscribe to the Portale Genitori portal or app. Instructions on how to register can be found at this link.
Please note that a new  user takes at least half of a day to be activated so you might not be able to access the account straight away.

RETURNING STUDENTS: The registration to the Portale Genitori portal needs to be renewed for the new academic year. Please see the instructions below to confirm your child registration to the lunch service for the school year 2023/2024:
    1.    Log in into the Portale Genitori portal using your credentials created last year

    2.    Click on Registry on the top menu and Renew memberships from the drop down menu

    3.    If the Tax code is correct, please proceed by click on Perform renewal 

    4.    Verify your email address by inserting your email address or change to another one and Request code.

    5.    A verification code will be sent to your email address, please insert it into the tab. 

    6.    Click on Perform renewal bottom to confirm the registration.

Once the re-registration is confirmed, you can download the instructions on how to charge your child’s account. Be reminded that any absence must be communicated through the Portal or the app by 9 am on the day of the absence. Otherwise, the meal will be automatically charged.

Please see below the instruction for registering for the lunch service:
RETURNING STUDENTS: The app has remained the same. Please make sure your child has enough credit to purchase the snack and lunch on the first day of school. We kindly remind G7-8 students to bring back the lunch card distributed last year.  
NEW STUDENTS: Please download the ISF CAFÈ app from Apple Store or Play Store. Instructions on how to register can be found at this link.

The app can be installed on more than one phone using the same user and password, so parents can recharge their children's credit using their own phone. Please note that you can monitor your child’s lunch choices through the app. In 2023-24, students from Grade 6-12 will not be allowed to use their smartphones during school hours, therefore, they must use physical cards that are linked to the digital account. 
Cards to students in Grades 6-8 have been distributed. Please remember that in order to link the digital account and the physical lunch card and therefore be able to top up the card and check your child’s daily use, the students have to follow a procedure at the ISF Cafè cashier having their mobile phone and the card in their hands. If your child does not have a mobile phone, parents can come to school between 8:00 and 9:00am to link the physical account to the card. We kindly ask you to please not drive on the school grounds for safety reasons.

Until the cards are distributed, Grade 9-12 students are allowed to use the mobile phones only during lunch break and will handle the device at the reception afterwards. Alternatively, parents can print the QR code for the payment and hand it to the students, however please note that the QR has 12 hours validity so it must be printed in the morning before coming to school. 
In case your child has run out of credit on the Siaf Cafè App and you are not able to recharge the credit remotely, they can add money through credit cards or cash at the Siaf Cafè. The service is available before 8:10 am every day. We discourage students from charging their credit during the breaks to cut waiting lines.
