Firstly you need to contact your doctor and the school immediately. The child  also needs to get a swab test done at a pharmacy or lab if he/she tested positive at home. This way the swab will be registered on the National System and the quarantine process starts.

ISF has an agreement with Helab in Piazza della Libertà and most of the time they are able to reserve spaces for students and staff. Please contact Ylenia De Rossi to ask if this might be possible. Please note that the lab is closed on the weekend.

This might be because the Local Health Authority is overwhelmed and is not able to issue all the documentations. To simplify and make the procedure quicker, the Tuscany Region has set up a survey that all the people that have COVID have to fill out. The survey is available at this link.
 
The survey will show the positive swab result done at an Institution (home test cannot be registered), if it is not shown, please try again in a few days. Once the survey is filed out, you will receive the official letter from the ASL that states you have COVID and have to quarantine. When you test negative, you will also automatically receive a letter stating that the quarantine period is over. This will also automatically generate you a new Green Pass when the quarantine period is over.

Firstly evaluate if they have had a "low-risk" or high-risk" contact.

The vaccination can be booked through the Tuscany Region website by providing your Italian codice fiscale (tax code) number to register and Italian Tessera Sanitaria (health card number.)

Unfortunately, the above mentioned document are required to get the vaccination, unless you fall under the the following categories of people that are eligible for the vaccine:
resident or domicile in the Tuscan territory and therefore registered through the Italian Health System (ASL);

• registered to A.I.R.E. (Anagrafe degli Italiani Residenti all'Estero);
• employees of an EU organization and their family members;
• diplomats and their family members;
• employees of an international organization and their family members.

The EU Digital Covid Certificate can be downloaded online here in Italian, English, French and German. The certification shows that you have been vaccinated (one dose is sufficient for access), that you have had a negative antigenic test in the last 48 hours or a molecular test in the last 72 hours, or that you have recovered from COVID-19 in the last six months.

If you have been vaccinated in Italy, you are usually notified by email/SMS with an AUTHCODE that allows you to download the certificate onto your smartphone. The email usually arrives within 48 hours of the first dose of the vaccine. The final certificate is generally issued within 48 hours of the second dose.

If you don’t receive the email with the AUTHCODE, you can request the code here and then use the dgc.gov.it website to download the certificate.
 
The digital certificate can also be obtained from the website as well as using the online regional health system (Fascicolo Sanitario Elettronico), by using the digital identity system SPID or via the Immuni contact-tracing app.
 
You can also obtain the certificate from your GP or a pharmacy by showing your tessera sanitaria (health card).

If you got vaccinated in Italy but do not possess a Tessera Sanitaria (you do not belong to the SSN) you can download your Green Pass with one of the following options:

• Through the Modulo Online (Online Form), inserting the Codice Fiscale and date of last vaccination;
• Through the App IO, downloading the App you will receive a notification every time a Green Pass is issued in your name;
• Through the Fascicolo Sanitario Elettronico, where your Green Pass will be available in PDF format. 

EU travellers coming to Italy can use the version of the certificate issued by their own countries. To date, it has been confirmed that travellers from the US, UK, Canada, Japan and Israel can show their vaccination certificates in Italy. 

You have to go to the Local Health Authority Office bringing your ID card/passport and vaccine certificate. The best place in Florence is the office in Via Gabriele D'Annunzio, 29. Please note that only the following vaccinations have been authorised by European Medicines Agency (EMA) and Agenzia Italiana del Farmaco (AIFA):

• Comirnaty (Pfizer Biotech);
• Spikevax (Moderna);
• Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca);
• COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen (Janssen-Johnson & Johnson)
