Community Service Day 2025 - A Day of Giving Back

Community Service Day 2025 - A Day of Giving Back

Think globally, act locally!

On Tuesday, students and staff across all grade levels at ISF came together for Community Service Day, a highlight of the week filled with meaningful activities both on campus and in the wider community. The day provided students with an opportunity to give back, learn about community engagement, and see how small and large actions can contribute to the wellbeing of others.

At the Junior School, students participated in a variety of activities, including farm visits, sustainable gardening projects, and community engagement initiatives at the RSA, all designed to teach the importance of service and teamwork. Special thanks go to JS Community Service Day Coordinator Franco Perrotta.

At the Upper School, students partnered with community organizations, working alongside CAS students and staff to lead and participate in activities that fostered understanding of service, teamwork, and community impact. Special thanks go to Upper School Community Service Day Coordinator Inka Szablinski, Juliet Vess, the many CAS students, and all student representatives who helped make the day a success.

We are grateful to the parents and friends of the school who joined and supported the day’s activities. The dedication and enthusiasm of everyone involved made Community Service Day an inspiring and impactful experience for all.
