Celebrating Languages in Grade 2
This week, Grade 2 students had a truly special experience as we welcomed family members into the classroom to share stories in their home languages. The joy and excitement were evident as students listened intently to each story, soaking in the sounds and rhythms of languages from around the world.
Highlights of the event included:
- Hearing beautifully diverse languages spoken with pride and passion.
- Learning about new cultures and places, sparking curiosity and appreciation for global diversity.
- Seeing the joy on students’ faces as their family members took the spotlight in class!
