Procedures for Positive Cases

If you or a family member suspect contact with or are a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 and are awaiting test results, DO NOT come to school.

When A Student Tests Positive...

TYPE OF CASE ASYMPTOMATIC SYMPTOMATIC LONG TERM POSITIVE

COVID-19 Case

- not vaccinated

- without booster dose or with 2 doses done more than 120 days ago

10 days of isolation, starting from the day of the first positive swab

Molecular or Antigenic NEGATIVE swab done after 10 days from the first positive test

10 days isolation from the day the first symptoms started, and at least 3 days asymptomatic At the end of the 21 days of at least the last 7 days without any symptoms

COVID-19 Case

- with booster dose or with 2 doses done less than 120 days ago

7 days of isolation, starting from the day of the first positive swab

Molecular or Antigenic NEGATIVE swab done after 7 days from the first positive test

7 days of isolation from the first day the symptoms started, and at least 3 days asymptomatic

+

Molecular or Antigenic NEGATIVE swab done after 7 days from the first positive test

At the end of the 21 days of at least the last 7 days without any symptoms

How To Return To School If You Were In Close Contact With A Confirmed Case

  QUARANTINE SWAB TEST
If you have had 2 vaccinations more than 4 months ago: 5 days isolation Antigenic or Molecular
If you have had 3 vaccinations, or the 2nd vaccination within the last 4 months: No quarantine if asymptomatic, but you are required to wear an FFP2 mask for 10 days and be under surveillance for 5 days Not required
If you are not vaccinated: 10 days quarantine Antigenic or Molecular

You must send your NEGATIVE test to the ISF School Nurse and/or the ISF COVID-19 Coordinator and WAIT for their approval to return to school.
