ISF Admissions Procedure

To apply to the International School of Florence, please send the following items.

Junior School Applicants

Students applying to grades PS to 5 are required to submit:

• a completed Application Form;
• the application fee of € 300;
• school records, as applicable;
• report cards reflecting the most recent year of studies;
• one confidential Teacher Reference (on the provided form);
• Emergency Medical Information.

Middle School Applicants

Students applying to grades 6 to 8 are required to submit:

• a completed Application Form;
• the application fee of € 300;
• report cards reflecting the most recent year of studies;
• two confidential Teacher Reccomendations (one from a teacher, one from an administrator);
• a completed Student Autobiography;
• Emergency Medical Information.

High School Applicants

Students applying to grades 9 to 12 are required to submit:

• a completed Application Form;
• the application fee of € 300;
• recent standardized test scores, if available (including PSAT or SAT scores for Grade 12 applicants);
• report cards reflecting the most recent year of studies;
• two confidential Teacher Reccomendations (one from a teacher, one from an administrator);
• a completed Student Autobiography;
• Emergency Medical Information.

Please note that formal applications cannot guarantee places at the school, as we receive a very high number of applicants annually. It is strongly recommended that you apply early, as there are waiting lists for some classes.
