Although I only went to St. Michael’s for just one year, the school had given me a profession. It also opened my eyes to the diversity of the world. I met people who spoke English but whose life experiences were completely different from mine.

· What years did you attend ISF?
I went to St. Michael’s for just one year, 1965-66.

· What university did you attend? And your Major?
I attended Georgetown University and majored in Italian.

· What is your nationality?
I am American.

· Where do you live now?
I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

· What do you do for a living now?
I teach Italian for a living.

· How did ISF impact your life?
It gave me a profession.  It also opened my eyes to the diversity of the world.  I met people who spoke English but whose life experiences were completely different from mine.

· Who was your favorite teacher? Why?
Mr. Gibson, he was extremely interesting, had lots of information and shared it generously.  He was also very clear and thorough.  I loved his class.  A close second was Italian with Ms. Russell.  She was a very good teacher.

· Describe ISF in one word.
Enriching.

· What is your greatest accomplishment?
I hope it is yet to come, but for now, introducing inner city youth to the possibilities of travel and the world beyond their neighborhood.
