Students are required to wear a full child friendly uniform which consists of navy blue/white tops and navy blue pants/skirts with the ISF Logo.

ISF is a day school, therefore students are required to live with their parents or legal guardians.
The first day of school usually begins in the first week of September and ends in the middle of June.

Both campuses offer a wide variety of activities on campus. The activities follow a semester schedule and are offered to all students from Foundation up to grade 12 and begin after school dismissal and run approximately for one hour
We currently do not offer any financial aid
All local students are required to do admissions testing at the US and a screening at the JS
All International applicants will be evaluated by the admissions committee, and if necessary students will be required to do admissions testing or placement testing
Foundation-Grade 12: All students are required to take Italian and from grades 6-12 a third language is offered (Spanish or French).
Local families will receive their responses during the late Spring.
International Families will receive within 2 weeks upon the completion of the application or when a place becomes available.

Junior School
A starter stationery kit and books are provided by the School at no additional cost.
In Grade 5 iPad devices are provided for didactic purposes only.
Extra Curricular Activities, EAL and Learning Support classes are provided by the School at no additional cost
The cost of transportation and admission tickets for day trips programmed at the end units of the PYP curriculum is also covered by the School.
Upper School
Textbooks are provided by the School at no additional cost. iPad devices are provided (free rental) by the School to students enrolled in grade 7-8 for didactic purposes only.
Chromebooks are provided (free rental) by the School to students enrolled in grade 6 for didactic purposes only.
After-school activities are offered at no additional cost.
High School Careers Counseling is fully paid by the School
EAL and Learning Support classes are provided by the School at no additional cost
The cost of transportation and admission tickets for educational day-trips in Florence for Grades 6-10 is covered by the School.
The cost of orientation trips in September for Upper School students in Grades 6 – 10 is covered by the School.
At the JS, catered lunch service is available at an extra cost by semester subscription. Snacks are provided by families. At the Upper School, we have the “ISF Cafe” available for all students. Payment is made through a pre-paid lunch card, where parents can top up.
