· What university did you/are you attending? And your major?
University of Bath – My degree is an integrated Masters in Engineering (MEng Civil and Architectural Engineering). I am currently on the last year of my degree. For the first semester (i.e. this one) I am on ERASMUS at the Technical University of Munich (Germany).
· What is your nationality?
I am Italian.
· Where do you live now?
I am currently in Munich, but I will be back in Bath in February to finish off my degree.
· What do you do for a living now?
I am still a student.
· How did ISF impact your life?
Simply said, ISF has pretty much made me the person I am today. It has given me an international education and an open-minded attitude towards people.
· Who was your favorite teacher? Why?
I’ve had so many great teachers over the 13 years at ISF so it is hard to choose. I will have to go with more than one:
Mrs. Bandini – She was fundamental for my development during junior school (especially in 1st and 5th grade).
Mrs. Benedetti – Probably the teacher that has given me the most during the years at ISF. A great Italian literature teacher and a great person overall. Definitely more than just a teacher for me.
Mr. Clausi – For being much more than a PE instructor and a sports coach. I don’t know any other teacher that dedicates so much of his personal time to students.
Mr. Wood and Mr. De Grazia – For their humor and for giving me a solid science and math knowledge that has helped me greatly at university
· Describe ISF in one word.
· What is your greatest accomplishment?
Professional accomplishment – becoming a certified Passivhaus Consultant last June.
Sport/ Extra-curricular accomplishment – winning the DoDDS European Championship Soccer Final (Division 3) with ISF in 2012 (first major sports win for the school) as captain of the team.
